Let Your Wedding Shine With Wedding Sparklers

For any couple in love, their wedding is an event of a lifetime. For many of us our wedding day is perhaps the most special day in our lives. This is one such event where we are the stars, the centre of attention. The exchange of wedding rings and the final kiss are perhaps the most remarkable ways in which a couple is able to express their true love for each other. With such importance being attributed to marriages, it’s no surprise that a whole new market has emerged for wedding planners.

People hire wedding planners for one purpose and one purpose only i.e. to make their wedding look spectacular. Wedding planners show their customers some designs and themes that may have been inspired from previous spectacular wedding events. Most of the popular themes and designs incorporate beautiful lighting, decorative and novelty items, fireworks and crackers and of course a big and delicious wedding cake.

Over the years these designs and themes have become common. Couples strive for something different to make their wedding celebrations outstand others. In recent years a new concept has emerged i.e. of wedding sparklers. Wedding sparklers can add a lot of charm and glitter to your celebrations.

If it is the first time you have heard the term then don’t worry, understanding wedding sparklers is not like studying rocket science. There are two types of wedding sparklers, one is fireworks based and the other is more of an electric device comprising of bright LEDs that give out spectacular effects. All wedding sparklers, whether fireworks based or electricity based are made from thin but stiff wires that make up the frame or body of the display. Fireworks based sparklers are dipped in a thick batter of pyrotechnic composition and the allowed to dry naturally. The chemicals used in the pyrotechnic composition have an attribute of burning slow so that the display can last for a longer period of time as opposed to conventional sparklers. Electricity based sparklers on the other hand use no chemicals at all, they are comprised of small brightly lit LEDs. These sparklers can be made to change color very rapidly and they can even be programmed to show different text or images at different times. They are even easier to work with and cause no smoke. However they have a significant disadvantage too, if you are planning your wedding in a remote location where there is no electric supply then you must arrange a generator or a battery to make it work. They are also less bright than fireworks based wedding sparklers.

Most of the weddings take place during the day. So there is no point of using wedding sparklers at that time as they would serve no purpose in the day light. They are to be used during the evening party when the bride and the groom meet all of their friends and family. Wedding sparklers can be used for a variety of purposes at this time; they can be used to lighten up the entrance of the newlywed couple and for highlighting their first dance together.

Planning Your Romantic Tuscan Wedding | Make Sure Your Marriage will be Legal

The Italian region of Tuscany is well known as being one of the most romantic countries in the worlds making it a perfect location for romantic getaways, retreats and the perfect destination for a stunning wedding. Known for its picturesque landscapes and rich artistic history, there are many ceremony options and destinations that will make a Tuscan wedding the perfect celebration of love for a happy couple. Although it is best advised that those deciding to marry in this beautiful setting get help from a Tuscan wedding planner who has extensive knowledge of the region, a couple should also compile their own research on accommodation, legalities, local sites, and of course, choosing the wedding outfits, so that their guests and themselves have the best time celebrating their love.

Make Sure Your Marriage will be Legal

Those who are wanting to marry in Tuscany need to make sure that their marriage will be legal and binding by following government guidelines both in their country of residence, and that of the local authority in Italy.
Without correct documentation, then the wedding ceremony may be null and void leaving the bride and groom having to pay additional fees to make their marriage official upon return to their home country. Those who are currently planning their Tuscan wedding should see here for information about what procedures and documents are needed, and also check out their government’s website for more information.

Accommodation and Wedding Venue

Having made the decision to marry in Tuscany, you probably already have a specific area or town where you are dreaming of tying the knot, but you need to make sure that it is not only suitable for your ceremony and celebrations but for your guests as well. Those who are invited to your wedding may need to find accommodation and need to book flights and travel to the area, so make sure that you pick an area that accommodates their needs as well as your own.
Consider whether you would like to marry in a church or town hall, and whether you want to hold celebrations in the villa or hamlet you are staying, or whether another space is more suited. Making a trip to the region prior to the nuptials is a must for those marrying as it will aid planning and allow for the perfect wedding location to be chosen.

Decorations, Dresses and Dining

Regardless of whether you enlist the help of a wedding planner, or try to create your dream wedding yourself, those who are marrying in Tuscany will want to pick their decorations, dresses and wedding breakfast so that is relates to the landscape and culture. In order to find a dress that is well fitted and suits their style, it is often best for brides to purchase from their own country and transport with care. Decorations and flowers are best sourced locally in Tuscany so as to avoid any extra luggage and transportation charges.

Well known for its cuisine, those marrying in Tuscany do not have to worry about being unable to find a perfected wedding breakfast menu, and can easily pick a combination of local Italian dishes that are ideal for celebrating their marriage.

With so much to organise when planning a wedding abroad, couples wanting to marry in Tuscany should seek help and advice from those who are experienced in Italian wedding planning and understand the process so that their wedding day is perfect, romantic, and memorable.

Large Garden Wedding Ideas For The Budget Conscious

Many people assume that garden weddings are for people who have a mega wedding budget. The reason being that everything from permits to the decoration and entertainment costs a bit more. Then you also need to pay extra to keep guests shielded from the elements. That being said there are a number of things that can be done to house a large number of guests in your backyard and not pay top dollar for anything. As a matter of fact backyard weddings can be pretty frugal.

Opt for your garden as opposed to a public park

Getting a spot at a public park to get married may cost less than most banquet halls but the fact remains that you still need to pay money and all without the benefits of what banquet halls offer. For instance, the park authorities will require that you clean up the area after the ceremony ends, they will also dictate when the ceremony ends and you will be liable to pay for any damage. This means that you’ll need to hire a few people to clean up the place, then make sure that kids do not run around the park and damage stuff and end your wedding before the park closes. This is a lot of hassle for a wedding that can easily be planned in your own garden. If you do not have a garden then opt for the garden of a family member or a friend. Generally speaking you’ll need a square foot of space for each guest at your wedding on average.

Hire a large tent to cover the entire garden

Hiring a tent will not cost you more than $50 for the entire day. Depending on the size of your garden covering the entire garden with one tent will work out to be cheaper than using more than one tent to cover different segments. Ideally, you’ll want to hire a waterproof tent if you expect that the wedding celebrations will be headed into the night when dew and light rain is usually expected.

Have the ceremony in the house with people seated outside

The cheapest way to get married is at the church but with long waiting lists this can be a challenge for couples who want to get married fast. If the garden is small open up the doors to the home, setup the aisle along the garden leading to the open doors. The stage can be set inside so that you’re maximizing the seating space outside. You will need flowers, a stage, carpet and the lights inside should suffice. Arrange it so that people sitting outside preferably in lower light than inside can view the proceedings easily.

Turn on regular garden lights with filters instead of special lighting

Many garden wedding ideas call on people to hire or buy special lighting. However, since many gardens already have lighting all you need to do is to make it more beautiful. Take a few sheets of transparent blue and yellow plastic. Then wrap the plastic around every garden light and secure it with sticky tape. This will help present a more romantic multi-colored lighting effect, which will look great in photos. Total cost is around $10.

Borrow and not rent seats

Many of us have a dozen or so garden seats in our home that are not being used all the time. If you are expecting around 50 guests you can easily borrow seats from neighbors and friends, just for the ceremony. The seats can then be covered with decorative cloth so that they all look the same, and not out of place. However, if you do have an extra $100 to spare hiring seats and tables for your garden wedding is highly recommended.

Get quotes from celebrants

Wedding celebrants tend to be busy and expensive during the wedding season which is usually in the summer and spring. However, you can save money and bargain if you decide to get married in winter. This will help you save around $200 off what you’ll otherwise pay a celebrant. Modern Weddings recommends not booking a celebrant’s service in advance if you’re getting married during the off season because you can end up paying more but if you are getting married during the wedding season then booking in advance will help you save money.

Creepy Wedding Crashers - How To Keep A Romantic Outdoor Event Pest-Free

Now that you have decided to wed, then you must choose a location. Do you want a wedding in church or outdoors? Some people like outdoor weddings, and most of them prefer the beach or a nice garden with a view. The great thing about having an event in the open is that you'll have more leeway in terms of theme or decoration. However, you're also at the mercy of the elements. Plus, you have to ensure that there are no bugs that will crash your special day.

A Bug-Free Affair

It is quite difficult to keep bugs away when you're outside because this is actually their turf, so to speak. Still, you can use many ways to ensure that you and your guests won't be tormented by creepy-crawlies on your wedding day. Here are a few reminders.

o Scented candles

Candles have two major uses. For one, these can be used to add more light and drama to a certain area. In addition, these can also help repel bugs. But you can't just use any type of candle. The scented variety is recommended. Citronella candles are the best choices. You can also use candles perfumed with insect-repellent oils, like lavender, peppermint, and thyme.

o Decorative bug repellents

To further ensure that those insects are kept at bay, use decorative items that double as pest repellents too. Make small bags that contain aromatic herbs that bugs hate so much, such as basil, lemon thyme, sage, rosemary and lavender. Place these in corners, under tables, or near pathways. You can also hang them on trees. Another great idea is to use potpourri, artificial flowers or other decorative items that are scented with bug repellent essential oils, such as - citronella, pine, peppermint, lavender, rosemary, and sandalwood, to name a few.

o Bug spray or bug fogger

Most establishments that rent their space for outdoor events often have their place sprayed for pests. Ask about when they're going to do the treatment and schedule your event after this so that there will be fewer bugs in the area. A bug fogger, which is typically used indoors, can also be used together with yard repellents that create a liquid fence that bugs won't be able to cross. This is particularly effective not only against flying insects, but also against crawling bugs.

o Clean surroundings and trimmed grass

There are all sorts of bugs that come out during spring, and one example is the tick. Rove Pest Control experts explain that these bugs usually stay on leaves while waiting for a warm-blooded creature to pass by. If a dog, deer or a person comes in contact with them, they immediately transfer to their new host. Ensure that this doesn't happen by mowing the lawn or trimming grass and shrubs, and getting rid of clutter where these minute creatures can easily hide. Cleanliness keeps away many other bugs too. Remember that your guests wouldn't want to contract a dangerous disease from a tick bite.

o Mosquito net

Use a nice and beautifully styled mosquito net to keep bugs away from your food and, most especially, your cake. Another option is to rent a tent with screens. Have all the food inside so that your guests will be able to eat in peace.

o Bug repellent giveaways

Make sure that your guests are well-protected from pesky critters. Distribute pest repellent lotions during the event. You can also ask your guests to bring their own bug sprays or creams.

The Perks Of Shopping Online For Your Wedding Dress

These often offer the latest styles and trends, cost effective options and even the easiest access to exclusive gowns. With this convenience, traditional window shopping is no longer the go to route for finding your perfect wedding dress. In fact, some of the most sought-after garments make their debuts on the internet first.

Planning a wedding can be exhausting and shopping online is one way to avoid the pressure of trying on an array of dresses at a brick-and-mortar department store. This is reason enough to take to your computer first and shortlist your favourite gowns beforehand. By choosing the designer you like, the colours you prefer, and the price range that’s ideal – you can decide on exactly what you’ve always envisioned your perfect dress to be.

Shopping for dresses using the internet is so popular now, that Glamour magazine did a spread on some of the best online wedding gowns.

Whether you’re looking for something flowing and whimsical, a vintage number, edgy chic or just pure figure-hugging elegance – your wish is the internet’s command.

You can even search for gowns that emulate your favourite designer’s creations without having to book in advance or even leave your home. Moreover, you can look like a Vera Wang masterpiece at a fraction of the cost.

A wedding day is a milestone for every person and there should never be a need to compromise on your dream. Every woman has the ideal bridal dress in mind for that perfect day. Back in the day, finding that outfit may have been an impossible task if your idea was somewhat unusual. But in this day and age, that shouldn’t be a problem.

Online shopping has become so revolutionised that you can ask for alterations, adjustments or have an entirely new dress made – depending on who you’re talking to. Of course, you shouldn’t think it’s going to all be easy sailing. There are some crucial things to consider before clicking yes.
  1. Body shape: A dress will never look the same on different people. That Versace-like gown may look stunning in a picture of a 6ft model, but make sure that it’s flattering for your specific figure.
  2. Fabrics: Photos make it difficult to see exactly what the material would look like in real life. Get familiar with various types of fabrics to ensure that you pick one that you love and suits your body.
  3. Customisation: Take complete advantage of being able to control exactly what your ideal dress should look like. You can add straps and sleeves or have it resized and bedazzled, as well as synched or let out at the waist – the sky is the limit.
  4. Height: Make very sure that the length of the gown suites your height. Take into consideration the shoes that you’re going to wear; this will make a big difference. The last thing you need is a dress that you have to hold up all night, or one that falls awkwardly above your ankles.
  5. Explore: It may be an attractive idea to purchase the first beautiful creation you set your eyes on. However, it’s a good idea to make sure that you have seen all of the available options before you make your final choice and purchase.
Keeping all of this in mind, it should be nothing short of fun and exciting while dress hunting through the World Wide Web. Even if you don’t end up buying something from an online store, it will give you to options and styles that you may have not initially considered. This way, you can also get new ideas to design your own perfect creation. Online stores provide you with a smorgasbord of options and are the perfect place to get creative when it comes to tailoring your dream dress.
