These days, people are surrounded by appliances that make life more convenient. Because consumers trust the products that they are using, they won't think twice about turning on their television or using their microwave oven whenever they want. But did you know that turning on an electrical device creates an electromagnetic field? 2. Use tested products. Avoid buying electric appliances that do not possess the right stamps of approval, so to speak. Before splurging on, say, a microwave oven, check what kind of safety marks you need to look out for. These markings will tell you what sort of tests the product has gone through. Top quality products usually need to go through stringent tests performed by certified companies. 3. Use EMF protection. When avoidance is not an option, use products that can help in protecting you from electrical fields.
